Coveralls as a controlled work garment

A coverall is a production garment. Fit through the shoulder, rise and sleeve, plus how it opens and closes, decide whether people will actually wear it for a full shift.

One piece, many failure points

Coveralls concentrate stress at zippers, crotch, knees and cuffs. Those points are specified in sampling — not left as an afterthought once bulk stitching starts.

Identification still matters. A coverall that cannot take a clear logo or name placement becomes anonymous on a mixed site.

When coveralls are the right default

Maintenance, engineering, some warehouse and fabrication roles choose a one-piece garment because it covers better than a shirt and trouser. It is not automatically the answer for every industrial team.
